Registration

The registration fee includes attendance at all conference sessions, including coffee/tea and lunch breaks, the Welcome Reception, and the Conference Dinner, as well as access to the full conference proceedings.

Conference Activities


Kick off the conference with a relaxed social gathering and networking evening at the Haus der Geschichte, Darmstadt. Enjoy drinks and finger food in a unique historic venue in the city centre. An ideal setting to connect with other participants and start inspiring conversations.
The conference ticket includes the welcome reception. Please book an additional ticket if you would like to bring a guest.

Experience a truly local and authentic evening at Braustüb’l, featuring locally brewed beers and traditional regional cuisine in a cozy brewery atmosphere. This informal highlight offers excellent opportunities for networking, exchange, and relaxed discussions.
The Brewery Evening is not included in the conference ticket. A separate ticket is required for all participants.

Enjoy an unforgettable conference dinner on a boat cruise along the Main in Frankfurt, with spectacular skyline views creating a special atmosphere. The evening includes transportation from Darmstadt, drinks, and traditional Hessian food.
One participant is included per conference ticket; additional tickets can be purchased for family members or partners to share this unique experience.

Registration & Refund Policy

1. Ticket Refunds

  • Cancellations before June 01, 2026: 100% refund will be issued.
  • Cancellations before July 01, 2026: 50% refund will be issued.
  • Cancellations after July 01, 2026: No refunds will be issued.
  • All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to: netzfuture@wib.tu-darmstadt.de
  • Cancellations are only considered confirmed once written acknowledgment has been received from the Conference Secretary.
  • Refunds processed within 8 weeks after the conference ends.
  • A processing fee of 50 € will be deducted from all refunds.

2. Substitution

  • Participants may transfer their registration to another individual in the same category (e.g., student to student, regular to regular) until 25 July 2026.
  • A substitution fee of 50 € may apply. Contact netzfuture@wib.tu-darmstadt.de for details.

3. Author Registration Requirement

  • Every accepted paper must be accompanied by at least one full registration by the registration deadline.
  • Papers without a registered author will not be included in the final program or conference proceedings.
  • All participants, including authors, presenters, attendees, and session organizers, must register under the appropriate category (e.g., student, regular, non-presenting attendee).
  • Students must present a valid student ID at the conference check-in desk.

4. Force Majeure

  • In the event of force majeure (e.g., natural disaster, government regulation, pandemic-related travel restrictions), the organizers reserve the right to:
    • Modify the event format, dates, or location
    • Cancel or postpone the event
  • In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed, and the organizers assume no liability for losses incurred.

5. Event Cancellation or Postponement by Organizer

  • If the event is cancelled or postponed by the organizers, all registered attendees will be:
    • Notified via email, and
    • Offered a full refund or transfer their registration to the rescheduled event.

6. No-Show Policy

  • No refunds or credits will be issued to individuals who do not attend the event and did not formally cancel their registration.
